Main Street Small Animal Hospital opened in 1988, when Dan Blake moved to the area to practice viticulture and veterinary medicine. He purchased an old house at the end of main street and began converting it into a veterinary hospital.

Back then, Templeton had about 500 residents and there wasnt much happening on Main Street beyond Hewitts Hardware and the Feed and Grain store. As the area grew, our hospital developed a countywide reputation for providing compassionate care and practical advice at affordable prices.

We all know what it feels like to get great health care. That feeling of "I cant believe it took me this long to find this place!" Our clients leave our hospital feeling this way and knowing their pets are getting top care from a compassionate team.
